The lab is initially about how Chips Ahoy! claims they have 1000 chips in a bag of chips ahoy cookies and Keebler claims they have 25% more chocolate than Chips Ahoy! in their cookies. Initial observations only provided the class with the two claims. Out of the two claims presented the only one that could be backed was the Keebler claim and the Chips Ahoy! claim was disproved. The data shows that there is an almost constant 25% more chocolate in Keebler cookies compared to Chips Ahoy!. To disprove the Chips Ahoy! claim it required some basic mathematics like finding the average and how many cookies are in a 13 oz and 16 oz bag of Chips Ahoy! cookies: To find where this data came from refer to the cookie data document given to everyone in class.
