In Kendal Klein’s essay, it discusses research found on the impacts of women in media, criticizing media’s role in how women are portrayed. Ms. Klein is an established college student that wrote and published this article, providing sufficient evidence to show the arising problems among young women, as they are the most affected by media claims. Throughout history, the portrayal of a woman in traditional advertising has shaped the way they are seen today as images of beauty, causing an exponential rise in eating disorders, depression, and suicide rate among them.
