While on patrol, I observed Kenneth Dewayne Thomas sitting in a brown pick up truck on Johnnie Mae Warren. I then turned around and the vehicle pulled up into a residence on that street. Thomas then got out the truck and started running towards the railroad tracks. I then drove my patrol car over to the railroad track then looked to my left. On my left, Thomas had walked into a porch to a residence. I then walked to the porch and opened the door. Upon open the door, Thomas then attempted to run out. I laid hands on Thomas as he was running and lost grip. Thomas then ran across the street to S. knox behind some residences to Mahone Court where it ended. I then located Thomas laying in the wood line next to the rail road track behind a residence
