My report is about this beautiful animal that loves the wilderness. Its name is the Kestrel. It measures to about 34-38 centimeters. I know it’s small but it’s very mighty. The Kestrel is a small, chestnut brown bird of prey. Their beautiful feathers and body is a very astonishing bluish colour with yellow cere.
Juvenile kestrels are similar in appearance to the female kestrels. Kestrels are found in a wide variety of habitats, from moor and health, to farmland and urban areas. Kestrels feed mainly on small mammals like voles,shrews mice and birds as large as starlings. Kestrels can be easily identified by their hunting behavior, hovering low over grassland in search of of prey.
