For as long as I can remember I have always loved taking care of people and animals. When I was younger I was big into baby dolls. I would make sure to give them all attention, feed them all and keep them wrapped up in their blankets. I love taking care of people and helping them with their problem. I like to be part of the solution. In order to be part of a solution however, you need to make the other person feels comfortable with you and you need to be able to gain their trust. I am very empathetic towards others. I like to understand how their feeling and their thoughts so I’m able to adjust how I act around them or what I say.

Not only the ability to be polite and encourage the patient, but also to understand that the patient is probably overwhelmed and isn’t one hundred percent sure about what’s going on and what all the medical jargon means. So taking the time to sit with your patient, or anyone really, to explain the situation in simple language so they can grasp what’s going on and how to move forward. When I get frustrated and upset I like to sit down with that person and explain what I’m thinking and feeling and then listen to the other person and hear them out about how they feel. That way there is no question about how each other feels and so that both parties can work towards fixing the problem, or can move on without have regrets about how the situation was
