An example of an activity that causes my case study JoAnn to motor plan is called kick the monkey. Kick the monkey is when you have to kick the beanie baby in a smooth walking pattern. It focuses a lot on proprioceptive input because you have to focus on the rate/timing of movements and the force being exerted by muscles. It focuses on rate and timing because you don’t want the rhythm of your walking pattern to change when you are trying to walk and kick the beanie baby. If the force of the movement is too strong it will disrupt the rhythm of the movements. JoAnn does a lot of motor planning when doing this exercise because she usually has to stop in between each stride of her kicking/walking. She often times hesitates when kicking the
