Killer whales are categorized as follows; they belong to the kingdom Animalia, phylum Chordata, subphylum Vertebra, class Mammalia, order Cetacea, suborder Odontoceti, family Delphinidae, subfamily Orcininae, genus Orcinus, and species orca. Although, there is some disagreement upon how many genuses of killer whale there are and even one other species, O. glacialis, only the Orcinus orca is a recognized genus and species of killer whale (Baird, 2000). Male and female orcas do differ morphologically. Males can be up to 9 meters in length and females up to 8 meters. Also, their dorsal fins can stand up to 6 feet tall. Also, different attack strategies have been observed in mammal-eating killer whales such as scare tactics, rushing the animal head on at high speed and then turning away. Also, other tactics during one observed prey attack were hitting the prey by their fluke and head, and submerging their prey under water (Kryukova et al, 2012). Mammal-eating killer whales have also shown specific behavior tactics such as intentional stranding and creating large waves over ice to push prey into the water, known as wave-washing (Abramson et al, 2012). Fish-eating killer whales show other strategies like circling schools of fish and corralling them, and the endurance-exhaustion technique, which is chasing their prey until they tire out (Abramson et al,
