Kimora and Akeno drank the same amount of alcohol and weighed about the same amount. Kimora felt worse than Akeno, but why was that? Men and women react to alcohol in different ways. Firstly, women have a higher blood alcohol level, which means that women will experience the complications alcohol brings longer and stronger than a man would. Secondly, women are known to have less water in their bodies, meaning that when alcohol is consumed, they will not have enough water to dilute the alcohol. Lastly, hormones play an important role because they allow women to absorb alcohol faster, especially during their cycle or before a cycle starts. Overall, these are the reasons why Kimora ended up having more complications. If Kimora had not received help, I believe she could’ve potentially ended up in a coma or even death.
