There have been many different kinds of government throughout the world’s history. Every era went through different ideas of how to run a successful society, and although most of them eventually failed or changed after time, some of the ideas used in societies throughout history inspire our government systems today. Some of the main systems of government are unitary, confederate, and federal. All of these have at least one thing in common; they are all forms of government that were built to hold up a society.
