King Charles II was the one to name this loving breed. He loved the Cavaliers so much that he never went anywhere without at least three of them at his side. They have long, soft, ears and huge brown loving eyes. They are fairly easy to train and can learn a variety of tricks. Although they are quick learners and extremely loyal, they can get distracted easily. Always keep them on a leash unless you're in an enclosed space so they can’t get out. If they catch sight of something like a squirrel or another dog or even a car, they’ll bolt and won’t look back once. They also make terrible guard dogs due to their size and affection. It’s a piece of cake for this breed to make friends. People often stop to say hi to the dogs while they climb all over you and lick your face. It doesn't matter if someone is breaking into your house in the middle of the night, the cavalier won’t see that as a threat.
