No one is sure how Tut died, but it may have been his chief advisor Horhemb. One of King of egypt's favorite hunting grounds was 400 miles away from the city. If he was traveling that far, then he would have taken some people with him. One of those people would be his chief army general. If he hit Tut off the chariot, then there would have been some injury. The king had a broken femur. Also, when he was killed far away, then that would explain why his head was injected with resin 2 times. After the mysterious murder of king Tut's wife Ankhesenamun got scared. She sent a letter to the Hittite king asking him to send her a prince. The Hittite king did in fact send her a prince. But as he got closer to the town, the prince got killed. Horhemb wanted her to marry him. Ankhesenamun did not want to marry him so she tries to run away, but Horemheb catches him. Then, he kills her. He did not want to get caught so he erased her from egyptian
