There's a lot of effort in our school to protect the environment, such as the big aerobic composter which takes all organics including food, waste, paper towels, cardboard, and some coffee cups. At Kings Christian Collegiate, the staff ensures nothing goes to waste, such as food and other supplies. We like to take care of the air around us to be able to feel fresh when walking on school premises. The film, Kiss the Ground, talks about the harsh soil on Earth because of the existence of humans. It also explains some techniques for our land to be restored and healthy. One topic in Kiss the Ground spoke about climate change, it said that the average weather was getting warmer year by year. It's in the name of “Christians”. Our main job as Christians is to spread the word of God and also the less talked about subject of taking care of God's green earth. When God created the world and the skies in 6 days with one day of rest, he made Adam and Eve and their descendants to rule over and protect the world. So we must restore and preserve God's creation, because that's what he wants us to do. The biblical expectation for us is to be fruitful and multiply while having a healthy world. Our will is God’s will, nobody has “no purpose” in life, everybody has an objective they need to complete such as solving world hunger, curing cancer, and restoring soil effectively. Overall, the main idea of this essay is to warn citizens all over the world about the desertification and dying of our soil and land, Egypt used to be full of grass and trees but now it has turned mostly into a desert due to irresponsible human activity. The thing to take away from this is to always remember “What would Jesus do?” before making decisions like throwing out trash or littering as it would not only be healthy for the earth but beneficial for our religion
