Now I’m going to talk about their language, it’s call awyu-dumut-dumut, this language is mix of twelve languages spoken in the Papua province. It takes part of the transneoguineans languages. This group of languages have this name because their are spoken in all New Guinea.
Their economy is basically formed of hunters-harvesters and horticulturalist , they have amazing skills in hunting and fishing, they generally eat wilds pigs, deers and flour of the sagu palm. The Korowai architecture is a very interesting, and is one of the reasons of why they are famous. They build their houses in the top of the trees in the middle of the jungle. In those houses live more or less ten or twelve people. This houses are build there to protect theirselves from the mosquitoes invasions, floods, from the attak of predators or enemies that what to kill them.
In therms of religion they believe in a creator spirit, who doesn’t have any influence in their life, and in the spirits of their ancestor. In honor of their ancestor a man almost once on his life, has to organize the sagu ritual. Which gives fertility an property to the population.
