Film is foul and film is fair. That sentence is the perfect way to describe Kurzels 2015 remake of the Shakespearean play Macbeth. The Film is foul because many of its reimagined scenes greatly changed the way the audience portrays characters. However the film is also fair because without having read Macbeth the movie itself was astounding. Kurzel took quite a few liberties while creating this movie, and one of the biggest is the lack of opinion. For example throughout the entire play Kurzel has either taken out or greatly changed many scenes in which the macbeth is not the main focus, and makes macbeth work alone to become king, and his motives are strictly for his family to have a better life.
