This case study examines the brain injury of Kyla Washington, a sixteen-year-old female who was involved in a motor vehicle accident. While on an outing with friends, Kyla’s side of the car was struck by a drunk driver, leaving her unconscious. Throughout this paper, Kyla’s symptoms will be reviewed, potential causes of memory loss will be examined, and possible treatment options will be explored.
