I learned that there are a lot of great careers in law enforcement and benefits at the LAPD. It was my dream to be a police officer. I always being a single mother of one 11-year-old boy and that made me change my mind on being an officer. My experienced at the front desk was boring, most people with attitudes reporting their personal problems. While filing I found out that there are tons of criminal cases unresolved. I would not like to put my life in danger. I am interested in working at the immigration department as a case worker to help the immigrant children that are arriving to this country. It motivates me to apply for the Master’s degree and eventually my long term goal is to become an attorney at the immigration department.
