Because of PTSD their were changes in Lady Macbeth behavior it shows a lot of different emotions and her behavior is constantly changing. As her psychologist we see that she is a very empty woman and because of that she has malicious thoughts that she soon dwell on.When Lady Macbeth first has thoughts on killing Duncan, she comes off very mentally unstable. When Macbeth informs her about the witches prophecy of him becoming king, she becomes very ambitions and power hungry. ( V,I 43-45:65) She is terrified of the deaths and numbers of them committed by Macbeth. Lady Macbeth is experiencing guilt from King Duncan's murder whom she pushes Macbeth to kill in ( II,ii 43-9). Lady Macbeth also deals with trouble sleeping (V,i 4-7). This disorder is the most dominant illness of all.
When speaking with the nurse she tell us that “I have seen her rise from her bed, throw her nightgown upon her, unlock her closet, take forth paper, fold it’ write upon’t, read it, afterwards seal it, and again return to bed; yet all in a most fast sleep.” (V.i.). According to her nurse Lady Macbeth has been sleep walking and having trouble sleeping this is a well known sign of
