Throughout the story both macbeth and lady macbeth experience great changes to their personality and behavior. From the beginning of the story lady macbeth wants her husband to do whatever it takes to become king, even if it means killing duncan. Macbeth on the other hand believes that if fate wants him to be king then he will not have to do anything.
Throughout the story macbeth becomes more and more cautious of the company he keeps around him. In the beginning banquo is one of his closest companions. After macbeth kills king duncan he begins to fear banquo and what he might do to macbeth.
