Angel Chavez Miss Guentzel Language arts 1st April “Murder is like potato chips: you can't stop with just one.”-Stephen King, under the dome, 1’‘Lamb to slaughter’’ is about a man who tells his pregnant wife he plans to leave her, then she strikes him in the head with a frozen lamb leg then perfectly covers it up. As well as she didn’t confess to killing her husband like in the story of ‘‘tell-tale heart’’ the man confesses to killing the old man. Even though they are both bad I believe ‘‘Lamb to slaughter’’ is way worse than ‘tell-tale heart', because she makes people eat the evidence, including cops. For example, a reason these stories are alike is they both murder people, however they are also very different because one of them is too guilty with murdering the old man ending up snitching on himself unlike in the ‘‘Lamb to slaughter’’ the wife doesn't confess to anything even making the cops investigating eat the Lamb leg that was used to kill the husband after he said that he was gonna leave the wife and the unborn child. …show more content…
To list another reason why they are similar, they are both insane, they are both insane because other people wouldn't have the thought of killing another person if their wife and husband or a person that they love even if they were leaving them/ getting a divorce.
