While in an interview with a basketball player he said “It doesn't matter who scores the points, it's who can get the ball to the scorer” This was by the famous basketball player Larry Bird. Larry Bird was a father of two adopted children and wife with an amazing basketball career, he managed to become very successful because his rival, Magic Johnson, also a very good player, encouraged each other's courage for whatever to come. He was influenced by his father at a young age and has stuck to basketball since. Larry Bird wasn’t self-confident and hoped he and others would be successful like he would. Here is some evidence, “When I was a kid I would always play with my brothers but every time I would miss a shot, they would make fun of me. But it would always be good when they got a taste of their own medicine.” He and his sister had to share a room together and would get in fights all the time and Larry Bird would always have to go to his grandma’s house. Here is some more evidence, “Me and my sister would always get into fights but not about the room being messy, but more about not having a lot of room.
