Throughout the Saints Sinners and Safari Invitational Exhibition, there were many works of art that caught the eye. These ranged from pieces of glass to paintings of people. All the works of art that were on display had exquisite use of lines, contrast, texture, shape, etc. but only a few really stood out to me. The painting Lunar Light Ascending by Jan Wegner was very captivating. Also, the wooden sculpture Standing Tall by Larry Kershner was so simple yet so beautiful. Through their exceptional use of color, lines, contrast, shape, space, and texture, they turned these what could be simple things into amazing pieces of art.
