Ethics is a set of moral principles, one related to a certain group. The song, “Independence Day” presents this action because, it tells how a father is overly abusive and sticks outside of his morals, the cartoon article “Mascots” presents the national issues and what we face as a nation of our morals, and the novella “Lather and Nothing Else” presents the morals and decisions of killing an enemy.
To begin, in Phil Hands “Mascots” cartoon, he persuades his Wisconsin audience about national issues because he uses certain ways of getting his point across. “While many of his cartoons tackle national issues” (5), This quote was specifically chosen because it supports the fact that Hands Cartoons are about national issues. In this cartoon he persuades his audience through a comical way. Somewhat like a way of attention.

In hernando Tellez’s story “Lather and Nothing Else”, he persuades revolutionists in this excerpt to stay with morals, to not kill a man, because war people are tempted to do actions that are tempted to actions that are wrong. “But I don’t want to be a murderer, no, sir. You come in to be shaved. And I do my work honorably. I don’t want to stain my hands with blood. Just with Later and Nothing else. You are an executioner; I’m just a barber (4).” This quote was chosen because the general is to do his job as well as the barber.
