July 11 2016, a large wildfire caused by lightning in Lava Mountain, Wyoming has bought into our attention. About 900 people evacuated and it effected approximately 290 homes. The fire has burned nearly 11 square miles and it is still spreading. The dry fuel and windy weather make it hard to battle. Government has brought in 600 firefighters and large air tankers . As for now, fire has burned 64 square miles and 84% of the fire is contained. People are still not able to go back to their home. (Staff and wire reports, 2016).
This nature disaster has aroused a lot of attention among nonprofit organizations. America Red Cross, one of the leading nonprofits in the States also participated. Red Cross has set up a shelter in a school to provide people
