An opportunity to work at the Lady Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital (LCCH) is a dream for me. As an under graduate student nurse, I feel that LCCH is the best place to be associated with where I can not only serve people, but also learn and grow further professionally. I regard the opportunity coming my way to work at LCCH as a matter of great pride and immense personal satisfaction.
I am aware that LCCH, being the largest and most advanced paediatric hospital in Australia, strives to provide the best family oriented care to children, young people and their families. What excites me most is the fact that it is the only speciality hospital in Queensland for children where teaching and research are undertaken. I see an opportunity for a lifelong learning process to stay updated and motivated. Needless to say how important it is for me as a nurse to keep abreast of the latest developments in the area of nursing care rendered with best practice.
