Hero When people use to ask me who my hero was I didn’t know how to answer them. I never really put much thought into it, until now. If someone would ask me now, I would say my grandpa is my hero. He did so much for everyone in the short time he was here. My grandpa fought in the military, was a loving person, and a hard worker.
Leland Trampe was born October 14, 1937 and died July 2, 2000. He served in the military from 1955-59. He was an Army Private, which is the lowest rank someone can be. In the Army he drove a bus for people on base for them to go into town. He was stationed in Killeen, Tx at Fort Hood. Everyone I talked to about him said he was never in any wars, but was a great man for serving our country.
