Lemon Brown has no one to pass anything on to or anything to give to anyone. Lemons Brown has nothing left not even anything to pass onto his children. It relates to what Greg’s father was telling him about studying passing on the fact that if he works hard he can at least do something. A treasure is something that you would give your life for protecting it. Like the previous one a treasure could be memories to pass onto your children and fighting to keep that memory alive is similar to what a treasure could be. Leading back to the the theme that a treasure is something tangible or not, that someone values.
In conclusion, the theme of the story, ‘The Treasure of Lemon Brown’ is that a treasure is something that someone values. It could be objects that aren’t worth much but has memories that makes it valuable. Many people have different ideas of what a treasure is but most people would mistake a treasure for gold or money, not saying that it couldn’t be gold and money but for some people their treasure is worth more than gold or money could ever be
