Leonard shares a comfortable sized room with another gentleman his age that he seemed to get along great with. As I visited Leonard, he joked around with his roommate quite a bit. His wedding was in the year 1948 and he was twenty-two years old. Leonard had the honor of marrying a lovely woman named Alaine who was eighteen years old. Leonard described Alaine as being beautiful woman but very jealous. Leonard and Alaine were blessed with two children. Their children’s names were Larry and Terry and they were a couple years apart. Leonard said that raising his children was the best phase in his life. He said that Alaine and his favorite thing to do was celebrate the holidays with his children. Leonard said they especially enjoyed celebrating Christmas and Easter because there were more activities to do with the children.
