Leonhard Euler's Accomplishments

This did not discourage the young man. In fact, Leonhard was offered a job at the St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences. After a few months working in the Academy of Science, a position in the mathematics department opened up. Of course, Leonhard jumped at the opportunity to work in the field he loved since a young age. Euller was not used to the northeastern region of Europe, and he soon took it upon himself to learn Russian. He mastered the language quickly and quite easily.
