Even though Levi lives in this dreadful place, he is incredibly intelligent, shoulders an immense amount of dignity, has excellent abilities as a soldier, and cannot resist making the finest, joke or comment. However, Levi also has a third title, Heishicho (hey- shoe), which translates from Japanese to English, meaning “leader of the soldiers”, which befits this man since he is a commander of the Special Operations Squad (Levi Squad).
