Lewis Puller is the most decorated marine in history that fought in pivotal wars. He was born in Virginia on June 26 in 1898. Skipping a few years, when he was just 10 years old his father passed leaving his mom with three children to raise on her own. With this, he was very sad for a few months. a few years later he wanted to join a war at 16 but could not get parental consent to join because his mom was afraid he might die at sixteen so at 18 (where he could join without an adult consent) he enlisted to join the USMC (United States Marine Corps). This became what he loved to do with his life.

To start, he served 37 years in the marine corps The United States Marine Corps (USMC), also referred to as the United States Marines, is a branch of the United States Armed Forces responsible for conducting amphibious operations. Like other marine forces they have a mascot their mascot their mascot is an English bull dog It is a muscular, hefty dog with a wrinkled face and a distinctive pushed-in nose. the marine corps has 186,000 active duty members and some 38,500 reserve Marines. Although it is one of the smallest forces it is still a very powerful force.

When he got through VMI, he met his former spouse Virginia Puller. Then he went on to fight in World War 2 what was so inspiring about this is with more than 8 million fatalities he kept on fighting till the war was over and made it out with his minor injuries. Even though he was hurt during this, he still went right back to work on the front lines. For this, he earned a medal by the name of the Purple Heart
