There are four liberal justices and five conservative justices in the supreme court. According to Supreme court justice inside.gov Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg are liberal judicial; Stephen Breyer and Anthony Kennedy are moderate justices; Samuel Alito, John Roberts (Chief Justice), and Clarence Thomas are conservative justices. For example, the court case of the abortion law in texas, The court ruled 5-3 that Texas can not place a law on abortion. Also liberal justices are likely to turn down a conservative regulation, while a conservative justice is much more likely to turn down a liberal regulation. Most Democrats would probably say that people on their side sometimes play dirty in campaigns, but Republicans play dirtier, and republicans would say the opposite. Generally liberal judges tend to interpret law in a way that gives more freedom to the people. Conservative view that interpretation of law must remain consistent, and they use stare decisis for state laws not to change.

Democrats and Republicans are two different political parties with different views in congress. Democrats believe that the wealthy should be taxed higher while Republicans believe that no one should be taxed and that wages should be set by the free market. Democrats are based on community and social responsibility, and Republican are based in individual rights and justice. Democrats believe that the military should spend less on military and Republican believe the opposite. Democrats support healthcare while republicans say that healthcare should be owned by private companies. Democrats are more liberal, and they tend to favor the role of equality and making people's lives
