Trae Crowder, better known as the “liberal redneck,” adjusts his identity as a liberal with an upbringing of cultural affiliation to that of a “redneck”. I aim to explore how Crowder shifts his identities and communication practices in his interviews and comedic skits, while also considering his challenges and strategies to overcome his communication dilemma.
