There are government programs such as Medicaid and Medicare that are supported through the collection of taxes. These programs only benefit certain families that are low income or the elderly. Libertarians are against this because these government programs are been provided by people that have not given their consent to be taxed for the purpose of someone else. They are not benefitting in no way. They are taken way the right to give their consent by the government.
