The people are seated in such a way that they form rows. These rows are wider closer to the viewer and they narrow out as towards the center of the window. This is one element that drawers the eye towards the bright window. The work is asymmetrical, because the mass of people sitting on the left does not resemble to the mass of people on the right. Even if the artist had painted the work from a slightly different angle, the symmetry still would not exist. At first glance it may seem that the artist was simply trying to capture the busy morning in a coffee shop. However it may be, that the artist had a personal connection to the cafe, such as a favorite place to go, or maybe he has come here with someone special before. Charles Iarrobino’s work was personally enjoyed from beginning to end. While he mostly uses large and bold brush strokes, the viewer is still able to find small details throughout the painting that gives each object, and or person, some character. For example, the details on the faces and clothes of the people in the shop are very accurate and as the viewer's eye continues “outside the cafe” the items become less detailed. He does a very good job in balancing his color palette in such a way that the paintings contain light and shadows in a natural formed
