Lil Wayne has joined Tidal as one of the music and video streaming company's co-owners. In order to officially stamp his involvement with Tidal, Wayne dropped a new song "Glory" exclusively through the streaming service. It has reported that the New Orleans rapper will also perform an exclusive concert for subscribers, which will be called Tidal X. "We're honored for Lil Wayne to join Tidal. His eagerness to release an exclusive Tidal track and schedule a Tidal X performance is just another example of how passionately artists care about getting their music to fans," Tidal executive Vania Schlogel said in a statement. Further details regarding the concert have not been revealed, but Jay Z, Jack White, and J. Cole have all performed shows exclusively on Tidal. Wayne's Free Weezy is expected to be released soon, and there is a possibility the project will only be available to Tidal subscribers.
