A workplace is another area where inequality presents itself. The possibility of finding women in the CEO or managerial positions is lower compared to men. Most jobs are taken by men, and the predecessors are always the male counterparts. Many women are fit for most positions in the employment sector than men because ladies are very intellectual, skillful and resourceful. However, less competent men are voted in for such position leaving women wondering the criterion for recruiting ladies in prestigious positions (Women's Rights Are Human Rights 17). Women have always yearned for equality in workplaces, well-off positions and equal pay for decades. Women don't wish to follow any person's orders but hope to have equal chances in companies. Their gender orientation has created a problem in accessing those positions. Research studies have shown that women are competent in several areas including the presidency. Furthermore, Men are always paid more even when the women have higher credentials (Curry and Messina 319).
The case of Lily Ledbetter working in Goodyear tire industry was a good example of discrimination against equal pay and rights.

Problems of sexual provocation always occur when women are trying to look for top employment positions or searching for a new job to support their needs. The current culture demands access to better employment so that families can acquire the basic needs such as food, access to quality care and better shelter.
