Every story created since the beginning of time has a lesson within, whether it is to instruct, inspire, or possibly to do both. Little Red Riding Hood was told to adolescentes to help them understand the danger of strangers. However, these stories also have the capability of curbing rebellious behavior in the reader or the listener. The book of Genesis contains many events that inspire and/or instruct the reader, but also demonstrate ways the reader can be find the lessons rebellious.
Chapter twenty-two can be both inspiring and instructing. In this chapter, God tests Abraham by commanding that he sacrifices his son to God, but the sacrifice is stopped by an angel. This can be instructing by stating that you must follow God’s commandment
