Child abuse is not a recent occurrence that just now is occurring around the world. Child abuse as, well as other controversial topics have a history of previous events that lead to where we stand now. The only difference from then to now is that child abuse is trying to be prevented more, people are finally realizing that children are human beings who deserve to have a voice and speak out when they feel their lives are at risk. The further back one goes into history on child abuse the more massive the abuse and neglect one ponders upon. From realizing children were most likely killed, rejected, beaten, terrorized, and sexually abused by their biological parents.
