Lord of the Flies Persuasive A luminary leader seeks to support their followers. In William Golding's novel Lord of the Flies, it tells an allegory about a couple of boys whose plane crashes on a deserted island. The boys have to fend for themselves and mature within a short period of time. They nominate Ralph as the main leader, and Jack as the leader of hunters. Throughout the book you notice how Ralph leads with the best interest of all the boys, while on the other hand Jack only wants power for himself.
