Kahoe pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice and was sentenced to 18 months in prison and fined $4,000 (“National News Brief”). A school shooting happened in Pearl, Mississippi, that left three people dead. Luke Woodham stabbed his mother to death before he went to school and shot his ex-girlfriend and one of her friends (Murderpedia).
