Single-mother families living in poverty often face many challenges. Parenting is the one of the biggest challenges for low-income single-mother families. Even though many programs and services have supported low-income single-mother families, there are still gaps in the programs to address the needs of poor single mothers and their young children. The new project helps us to provide a more comprehensive level of support system and services that aims to increase economic stability and positive early childhood development of low-income single mothers and their young children. Implementing of our program for low-income single-mother families may increase easy access to available resources. Our agency will focus on increasing awareness by providing a public awareness campaign. The campaign would increase knowledge and use of effective programs. It is a beginning social step to break the cycle of single-mother families in poverty. Additionally, development of resources such as brochures, websites, and support groups are best ways to initiate the
