Additionally, the program would be beneficial to both single mothers and their children that single mothers will be encouraged spend more time with their children by achieving economic security, and therefore children will have positive and meaningful childhood experiences. Single-mother families living in poverty often face many challenges. Parenting is the one of the biggest challenges for low-income single-mother families. Their financial instability can negatively impact on child and adolescent developmental outcomes. This project can help to reduce some of the challenges they face every day. Even though many programs and services have supported low-income single-mother families, there are still gaps in the programs to address the needs of poor single mothers and their young children. The new project helps us to provide a more comprehensive level of support system and services that aims to increase economic stability and positive early childhood development of low-income single mothers and their young children. Implementing of our program for low-income single-mother families may increase easy access to available resources. Our agency will focus on increasing awareness by providing a public awareness campaign. The campaign would increase knowledge and use of effective programs. It is a beginning social step to break the cycle of single-mother families in poverty.
