Further analysis considered the gender distribution among managerial positions within the store. Out of the total managerial staff, comprising ten individuals, four were women while six were men. Interestingly, these managerial roles were distributed across different departments within the store. Over the observation period, it was evident that men were more frequently tasked with duties such as transporting trash to the compactor, collecting shopping carts from the store's exterior, disposing of trash from the trashcans within the store premises, and utilizing cleaning machinery for floor maintenance—additionally, positions requiring tasks like closing bagging or janitorial duties predominantly featured male employees. Women were commonly observed in customer-facing roles at the front of the store, mainly operating cash registers or managing monetary transactions in the office. Notably, departments such as registers, bakery, and deli exhibited more female employees than their male counterparts.
