Kit is most loyal to her family, Hannah, and Nat. She helps them understand that they can accomplish stuff when they are down on themselves and they also love Kit too much for her to just leave but she has accomplished and showed them how much she cares for them.When she met her family she moved in with she didn’t feel like apart of the family at first but then she went and did what the family asked and got the family to like her because at first she was disreptitious but then she did what the family told them and got right into the family.

She was loyal to them because she cared for them and wanted to make them feel like she was a good person. The major events that happened which lead to her being loyal to them is when Kit jumped into the water just to Prudence’s doll, when she jumped into the water she was shocked on how the water was so cold but didn’t care that her clothes were wet because she wanted to get Prudence’s doll so she good be happy again, that’s how much Kit cared for Prudence. Also, when Kit taught Prudence how to read the Bible and get closer to God, that was her showing people how much she cared for them and wanted them to be healthy and grateful that God gave them Life.

In the chapter of the book, Kit rescues Nat from the mob, who then runs to the house before they burn it. Kit was then put under arrest for witchcraft, but she wasn’t the one who was doing witchcraft. So she took up Nat and was put under arrest and taken to the police station. Kit wanted to take up for Nat because she didn’t want Nat’s parents to be upset with her and get her in trouble for something she didn’t even do, so Kit told the officer that she did all of the “witchcraft” and got put under arrest. Kit did good things for Nat and that’s good because Nat could have gotten in a lot of trouble and got a bad punishment but Kit was nice and caring and took care of Nat. That’s called being loyal and good
