Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X were both very big leaders and influential people who were looked at in very high regard to some while fighting for their lives during the Civil Rights movements, but both had two separate ways of fighting for their equality at the time. MLK Jr. pushed for more peaceful protest and nonviolent activity. He followed Mahatma Gandhi’s push against nonviolence and seemed to be very influenced by his thoughts and actions while continuing to fight and follow the same principles.
