The Three Witches Meet Again Upon A Heath
The three witches meet under the conditions promised to make three important predictions for Macbeth’s future. He will be thane of Glamis, thane of Cawdor, and king hereafter. They also predicted that Banquo’s sons will be kings, but he will not be a king, before they vanished. He was then presented with the title of thane of Cawdor he was awarded from the war.

After King Duncan learned that the thane of Cawdor had been executed, he expressed his gratitude toward Macbeth and Banquo, and made a very special announcement about whom he would appoint as his successor and the Prince of Cumberland.
