“I just don’t know, we need a symbol, but I can’t think of one” Thomas Jefferson said. Benjamin Franklin tried thinking of one too. A small bird flew out of the bush near the window. Benjamin noticed it and then said “how about a bird?”. Thomas thought for a moment on how that would represent America. “That’s it! But a bigger more majestic bird!” he said. An Eagle happened to be sitting on a branch outside the window, “A bigger more majestic bird? To be an American symbol? I bet I can”. A crow cawed, “HAHA! You’re not fabulous enough, John! The Americans wouldn’t pick an Eagle. Brown’s a weird color, how about black? Black’s a very intimidating color-.” “Go away, Kim. You realize the farmers really hate crows right?” John said. John sat on the branch next to Kim, “So, does that make me an American symbol?” Thomas then happily explained, “It’s so big, and majestic, and perfectly American!” So John and other bald eagles went on to becoming an American symbol. This became very important in Eagle society. The Eagle went on the dollar bill, then on a bunch of other things. Americans thought of the Eagle as important afterward. Benjamin Franklin still thought of it as a bad choice, but Thomas Jefferson still loved his choice. Kim kept looking for her chance at replacing the emblem with the eagle on it. She could never seem to find one. She’d follow Benjamin around, then she’s follow Thomas around trying to look majestic enough.
