March 2017 What is an activists? People become activists when they notice something is wrong. When Josh Yandt moved schools he opened the doors for his fellow classmates and became an activist. Also Iqbal Masih thought child labor was wrong; so he decided to escape and tell people what’s going on. Malala Yousafzai recognized that women were not able to become educated, she stood up for her rights and she kept going to school. Activists decide to step up and change things to the benefit the world.

Josh Yandt is a teenager that was bullied from his dad passing away. He became an activist by doing something so small turning it into something big. If it wasn’t for him a lot of people who went to his school would still be depressed. When he switched schools and started opening doors for his fellow classmates, people appreciate him. To me this means that if we do something so small like opening doors, me and everyone else can become an activist. I think he impacted the world by making students days start off with someone bringing kindness towards themselves.

She became an activist because she went against the Taliban risking her life so that women could have such value of being educated. (bio.) Malala was riding her bus home when the Taliban, demanded for her name, then shot her. Now she could have avoided this if she wouldn’t have stood up, but she knew what could end up happening and that didn’t stop her. This means that if Malala risked her life to help educate others than at the very least we can help out in ways that are probably less harmful.
