At exactly 7:55, no earlier yet no later, Emily steps out of her car and walks in to Manhasset High School on September 1, 2015. It was the first day of Emily’s sophomore year at Manhasset High School and if that wasn’t stressful enough, she was also a new student who had just moved to Manhasset. Emily could not believe the sights she saw while stepping in to the building, it felt like a jungle to her, especially while looking at all the different sights. Little birds in their close to identical J Crew clothes chirping their brains out about how many encounters they had with another species over their summer break, as well as other animals that seemed to resemble a monkey, running around the halls and screaming their heads off.
