In Maniac Magee, Jerry Spinelli proved Maniac to be true and legitimate athletic character, He’s definitely amazing in the field of athleticism. On page 121, the book states “During the days, he ran, usually a slow jog. But sometimes he would suddenly sprint, furious ten-or twenty-second bursts …” You must have a lot of stamina to run well and the author showed this tremendously. He didn’t just make him run a lot ,but he made Maniac run for days on end. This is just the beginning there are many examples to prove this statement.
