The book “Man’s Search for Meaning” was written by Viktor E. Frankl, a person with a very high knowledge of psychology, after his experiences during the Holocaust. Throughout his time being held captive in Auschwitz, he and the others weren’t given a sufficient amount of food. The rations were very small and had to be divided amongst everyone in virtually nonexistent amounts. One day he observed this man who had compassion and loved to comfort others around him, this man had noticed how much this one person was suffering so he gave him his last piece of bread. Mr. Frankl concluded in his book that it doesn’t matter so much about the living conditions around you but matters most about some unexplained feeling inside that drives people to help
